自主互助学习型课堂教学模式

我校英语教学选取的教材是外研版,外研版英语课程按模块划分,每个模块一个主题、三个单元,每个单元的课型各不相同,分为听说课、阅读课和语法课三种课堂教学模式。虽然课型不同,但课堂教学模式的环节基本一致:

定标导学----自主互助----释疑深化----主体提升----评估小结

现以各个单元为单位,将英语教学的模式陈述如下。

听说课课堂模式

Unit 1 是听说课,通过各种形式的教学活动,培养学生的听说能力,下面是具体的操作。

 

一.定标导学

本节课为听说课,目的是训练学生的听力和口头表达能力。

以七年级下册Module 8 Unit 1 为例:

Learning Aims

1. To master some new words and phrases.(掌握新单词和短语)

2. To understand the story through the listening and reading.

  (能通过听力和阅读弄懂关于过去的故事)

3. To tell stories with the past tense. (能用过去式讲故事)

 

二.自主互助

本环节充分体现学生的主体作用,分为三个子环节:教师设定内容、学生自主探究、小组互助展示。

(一) New words(学新单词):

(二) While-listening(听力训练):

       课本P48  Listen and check the true sentences.

听力训练,帮助学生初步了解故事发展的时间、地点和人物,为深入了解故事做铺垫。

      

(三) Watch and number the pictures in the correct order.                                                    

观看故事视频,根据故事发展情节给图片排序,让学生对故事发展有一个整体的认识。

 

 

(四) Reading Competition(朗读比赛)

小组分角色朗读课文或小组齐读课文,体现小组互助。

读前解决发音疑难问题:

本模块的难点之一是动词过去式的发音及发音规则。

四.主体提升

本环节充分体现学生的主体作用,根据不同课型,采用不同的方式。整个过程中渗透了变式练习,把握本质;同伴互助,解决疑难;师生互动,突破难点,其方式如下:

(一)Make a dialogue(编对话):小组讨论,选择故事,并以小组的形式表演和讲述故事。

本环节主要体现建构主义思想,帮助学生对所学知识进行内化,进而建立知识结构体系。

 

阅读课课堂模式

Unit 2 是阅读课,根据课文的难度和学生的水平,教师把阅读课分为2个课时,第一课时的重点是理解课文和培养学生的阅读技巧,第二课时的重点是对课文的深度理解和知识点的运用。下面是两个课时的具体操作。

第一课时:

一.定标导学

本课为阅读课,主要的目标是让学生理解课文,培养学生的阅读技巧,提高阅读的能力。能够运用英语解决生活中的实际问题。下面以外研版八年级下册Module 5 Unit 2 为例:

  Learning aims:

    1.To be able to master the skill of listening.掌握听力技巧。

2.To be able to understand and summarize the passage on cartoons.

理解并能归纳出本文章的大意。

3. To be able to identify specific information about cartoon heroes.

分辨出文章中不同卡通人物的特性。

二.自主合作

本环节充分体现学生的主体作用, 教师设定内容、学生自主探究、小组互助展示。

(一) New words(学新单词):通过看音标,认识新单词 如:

 [ɒrɪndʒ ənd waɪt ] ['ʌɡlɪ] ['sku:lbæg] [li:d], [led] ['klevə(r)]

     1、早读期间,学生分小组自学音标和新单词;

2、课堂上,老师分组检测新单词

3、由同学或教师纠正发音。

(二) lead-in(引入)

根据不同话题,采取不同的方式:

1Free talk(自由交谈)

       2Pictures, video or music(图片、视频或音乐)

       3Play games(游戏)

4.教师也可以开门见山,直接引入新课。

(三)Listen and choose  听力训练听取信息  一般是5道题。

(四)Scanning 快速阅读

1.学生快速浏览课文,然后归纳文章大意:

Read the passage and choose the sentence that best summarizes it.

2.段意配对  

Match the paragraph with the main idea(大意)

(五)Intensive Reading 精读

学生精读文章,然后回答不同类型的问题,加深学生对文章的理解程度。

1. 精读文章,填取表格信息。

2. 精读文章,选出正确答案。

(六) Read the passage 朗读课文

(注:初一主要以朗读比赛的形式,但初二因为课文较难,主要还是以跟读纠音为主。)

例如本课环节:Correct the pronunciation mistakes跟读纠音:教师先有预见性的带

读一些比较难发音的词,并展示音标,然后让学生跟着录音读课文。

1.跟录音,大声朗读课文。

2.学生通读全文,并划出不能理解的单词、短语及句子。

3.然后小组讨论解决问题,最后学生将还未解决的问题提出,全班一起解答或老师解答。

4.小组展示。选取一些组来读课文,进行朗读竞赛。

三.释疑深化

(一)Find out the phrase找短语

教师提供一些重要短语的中文,让学生在文中划出并记忆。

 (二) Understand the difficult sentences 理解句子 

学生或老师找出一些难理解的句子,让同学们口头翻译甚至背诵。

四.评估小结:

本环节既充分体现教师的主导作用,也体现学生的主体作用

What have you learnt from the passage?(以问题或填空形式对本课内容复述。

如本课环节:学生复述不同的卡通人物。

说明:第一课时的教学重点是让学生理解课文的内容大意,掌握基本的阅读技巧,因此没有设置主体提升这个环节,提升环节将在第二课时体现。

 

第二课时:

一、定标导学:

本环节充分体现教师的主导作用,呈现学习目标,询问学生是否理解本节课需要达到的学习目标,从而让学生有目的性地学习,以提高学习效率。下面以八年级下册Module 5 Unit2 第二课时为例:

Learning aims:

1. Enable the students to understand the text deeply引导学生深层次理解文章

2. Enable the students to master some key words and sentences

掌握重点词汇及句型的用法,并学会运用

3. To be able to write about cartoons .能写出一篇关于卡通的作文。

二、自主合作

本环节充分体现学生的主体作用, 教师设定内容、学生自主探究、小组互助展示。

Remind the passage 回顾文章

1Free talk or ask and answer questions  学生以自由交谈的形式回忆上节课的内容或者教师给学生提问题,检测学生对课文的掌握情况。

 2Complete the passage with the correct forms 把课文改写成一篇短文进行课文重现复习(这也是为了训练中考题型)

三、释疑深化

本环节体现教师的教导(突出重点)、辅导(学生中存在的普遍性问题)和引导(把学生思维引向深入)作用。

() Language points 语言点考查

让学生完成5道选择题,主要是本课重难点句型、语法结构训练。

具体操作:1、学生自主:学生独立完成。

          2、核对答案:老师公布答案。

3、小组互助:小组内互相批改和讲解。

4、小组展示:小组派代表展示讨论的结果

5、老师点评:老师点评或补充讲解。

(二)Complete the sentences 完成句子

      根据本课所学的短语,学生独立完成句子填空,加深本课文词汇的理解和运用。

具体操作:1、学生自主:学生独自完成。

          2、小组互助:小组内互相批改和讲解,并提出短语在句子中需要注意的地方。

3、核对答案:老师公布答案和点评。

(三)Translation翻译整个句子 

      整个句子都是只有中文提示,要求学生独立完成,进一步训练学生的句子结构和词汇的运用。鼓励学生用不同的句式进行翻译,也为写作奠定一定基础。

四.            主体提升:

本环节充分体现学生的主体作用,学生写一篇跟课文有关的作文。

具体操作:1 要求学生先独立审题,再交流。

          2 小组确定文章的时态。

          3 小组讨论可能用到的短语和句型。

          4 学生独立完成,同时也可以挑选2名同学到黑板上现场写。

5 同学和老师进行点评修改。

五.评估小结:

                            语法课课堂模式

  Unit 3是语法课,重点是总结和归纳本模块所出现的重要语法现象,并达到学以致用的目的。

一、定标导学:

本节课为语法课,目的是让学生掌握该语法现象并会运用。以九年级下Module 1 unit 3为例:

Teaching Aims

1.了解动词的基本形式(动词原形、一般现在时第三人称单数、过去式、过去分词、现在分词、动词ing形式);

2. 掌握一般现在时、一般过去时、一般将来时、现在进行时、现在完成时和过去进行时的用法。

二、自主互助

本环节分为两个子环节:教师设定内容、学生自主探究及总结规律。

1.      Please find out the different tenses of the six sentences

(找出以下6个句子的时态)

1. I visited theGiant’s Causewaytwo

    years ago.

2. It produces electricity for millions of

    people inChina.

3. I’ve never seen it, so I’m not sure I

    agree with you.

现在进行时

过去进行时

 was/ were (not) + doing; ( at that moment, at this time yesterday, at 8 o’clock last night, …)

现在完成

 have/has (not) + done

 ( ever, never, before, just, already, yet, so far in the last 10 years, for + 一段时间,

   since + 过去时间/一般过去时从句,…)

 

三、释疑深化

本环节体现教师的教导(突出重点)、辅导(学生中存在的普遍性问题)和引导(把学生思维引向深入)作用。具体步骤如下:

Do the grammar exercises about the six tenses ,and choose one student to show the answers on the blackboard at the same time. Finally, the whole class discuss in group and check the sentences together.

 (做与这六种时态相关的语法练习,同时选一个学生上黑板展示答案,然后全班同学以小组为单位讨论,最后一起来检查黑板上展示的答案)

四、主体提升

把所总结的各种时态运用到句子当中,会用各种时态造句

(1)    Translate six sentences with the six tenses ,ask six students to translate the sentences on the blackboard at the same time, and then the whole class students discuss in groups and check the answers together at last.(全班用所学的六种时态翻译六个句子,同时叫六个同学上黑板板书,完成之后,全班以小组为单位进行讨论,然后一起检测答案是否正确)

五、评估小结
